Symrise Flammable Storage

To diversify manufacturing, Symrise needs to handle and store additional combustible and flammable liquids adjacent to their flammable manufacturing area in Teterboro, NJ. To allow for compliant, safe storage of these items, Symrise is adding 11,000 sf of new flammable storage to their existing warehouse building.

The new flammable storage warehouse will be fully compliant with all International Building Code and NFPA Codes while allowing easy access to the existing flammable processing suite. Due to challenging subsurface conditions, the project required the entire slab to be supported by piles, dramatically increasing the cost of construction. The overall design of the project is complete and awaiting funding to start construction.
